Mumbai: It’s raining Diwali offers for mobile users. Nokia India, which is the leading handset manufacturer in the country, announced a series of new services and offers on the eve of the festival.
Mr. Vipul Sabharwal, Director Sales, Nokia India says that Diwali is an auspicious occasion for Indians and Nokia wanted to build up their connect with loyal users at this time of festivities. The first-ever “cash back” offer on mobile devices along with new applications will bring alive the Diwali experience for our consumers.
The communication for the initiative runs under the ‘Khareedo Now Ya Pachhtaao’ campaign.
Customers purchasing any of the 11 models namely 5030 XpressMusic, 2330 classic, 2700 classic, 7210 supernova, 5130 XpressMusic, 6303 classic, E63, 6700 classic, 5800 XpressMusic, E71, and N97 consumers will get an ‘Nokia Diwali Gift Envelope’ containing details of the cash back offer in a form of a scratch card.
Cash back in the range of Rs 201 to Rs 10 lakhs will be offered. The envelope will also include information on free downloads such as games, wallpapers and ringtones for Diwali.
It will also include a Virtual Cracker feature which blows in the phone with amazing sights and sounds of Diwali Crackers. The SMS Responder feature available on S60 model enables customers to react automatically as per pre determined rules. SMS Timer application allows users to schedule SMS greetings and messages with ease.
A Shubh Diwali application will let users to send wallpapers as well as wishes to express feelings towards the loved ones. The service also offers traditional Diwali recipes. Moreover a collection of Diwali wallpapers, ringtones and themes are also available for download.
