Gmail, the most preferred email service in India

Mumbai: According to an online audience measurement and analytics platform, Gmail is the most popular and preferred e-mail service among Indians, followed by Yahoo Mail.
Gmail stands at No.1 position after it crossed 18 million users in September as against 16.8 million users who used Yahoo Mail.
Gmail is becoming more and more popular over the months. During September, Gmail witnessed an increase of almost 3% in traffic compared to the previous month.
Yahoo! Mail saw a decline of 8% whilst MSN Mail experienced an increase of nearly 6% in traffic since August.
