Mumbai: Twitter, the much loved microblogging network has now brought in a blackberry look alike device so that users are alble to tweet round the clock.

The device is aimed at bringing push notifications to the Twitter users who do not own a smartphone. To talk more about the device, it is more like a blackberry phone and is pf pocket size. It is a bright turquoise device that comes with a QWERTY keypad.

Those who do not get access to applications like TwitterBerry, EchoFon and Tweetie due to lack of a smartphone can now remain updated with regular tweets. Its predecessor device, the Peek Messenger was also pretty popular.

Though the device is pretty expensive, it comes for $99.95, with 6 months service free with subscription. And would cost $7.95 per month after that and it supports only one account for a user.

Peek’s chief executive Amol Sarva says “Newbies will finally ‘get’ Twitter once they have TwitterPeek in hand”.

Well, lets see how much tweeting this small device gets for Twitter.
