Washington: BlackBerry e-mail not working in some part of America: BlackBerry’s Internet service is not working properly in some parts of United States, it’s being reported.

Research In Motion Ltd. said in a statement that some of its customers in North America are experiencing delays receiving emails on their BlackBerry devices.

RIM has experienced several service outages in recent years, including North American-wide outages in April 2007 and February 2008.

Reports say that some users in the region reported “extremely slow” web browsing and the inability to view attachments.

The latest problem comes as RIM gets set to release its third-quarter results Thursday after the market close.
