New Delhi: Sir Isaac Newton’s and Google Doodle! Google is celebrating Sir Isaac Newton’s birthday today. The Google Doodle has been changed to the universal law of gravitation, showing a dropping apple from the tree.

The great Sir Isaac Newton who gave us the universal law of gravitation was born today on 4 January, 1643. He was a great physicist, mathematician, astronomer and one of the foremost scientists of all time.

Along with universal gravitation law, he also gave the three laws of motion. Google is paying unique tribute to Isaac Newton with an animated falling apple on its homepage.

As a mathematician Isaac Newton generalized Binomial theorem, laid the foundation for differential and integral calculus.

Not only this, he discovered the refraction of light, Newton’s theory of colour, refracting telescope and a long list of discoveries in Mathematics and Physics.
